What ERO found
The Education Review Office’s latest report on the school is a report from March 2024, a review of whether it meets the registration criteria for private schools. ERO found that it meets every criterion, including suitable premises, staffing, equipment, curriculum and tuition standards, fit and proper managers, and a physically and emotionally safe place for students.
Private school reviews are narrower than those for state schools, so the report does not set next steps. It noted that the school meets the code of practice for international students and gives them strong pastoral and academic support, and that boarders’ wellbeing is central to how the boarding houses are staffed and run, with policies and practice reviewed regularly.

Enrolling
Christ’s College is a private school, so it charges fees and does not have a home zone or enrolment scheme. Families can enrol a son at any time from birth through the school’s online form, which asks for identity documents, a recent school report and an enrolment fee, and the school encourages early enrolment.
Fees, scholarships, boarding and international enrolment are set out on its enrolments pages.
